Doesn't matter. To meet tin can status you need to be gutted.....sounddeadening removed, seats removed, radio removed, cruise removed, ac removed. It's got to be a tin can. My car is not.
BTW it weighed 170 less than your t/a on a 1/2 tank bone stock.

My Z is around 3300, but has a few things removed. Still has factory front seats, a radio, carpet, and door bars, etc but not for long. I want it around 3100 with cage while still looking stockish inside .
My transmission guy showed me their fox body drag car...2600#s wtf!. Runs mid 10s NA @ 128-130mph with only 550hp flywheel from a lil 361(363?)ci SBF crate motor. Hydraulic cam <.600" and everything. All I could do was imagine what it would do with my motor.
With Hios trap, he either makes closer to 450rwhp then he says or weighs quite a bit less then a stock fbody, maybe ~3300 like my Z.

My LT1 TA is probably between 3500-3600 with a bit of weight removed but some added back on (probably a wash), block is ~50lbs more then an LS block.

Put slicks back on the Fox and stayed up late Friday plotting the rear suspension, once again. Was going to try to take it to the track Saturday, but the wife had other plans.
Next time at the track, if it don't hook, contemplating putting drag radials on it and just going roll racing

These cars lose 200lb easily.....just threw smart mods really. Even 3150~ is pretty easy with no signs of weight loss. I'm lighter than that and other than a nice set of carbon seats and and a few holes in my hood hinges you would never know by looking or driving it.....other than in driving it the car is very responsive to everything. Just out of curiosity what does it plot stock? When I mess with **** and have issues I go back to stock and start over....and make smaller changes from stock.
There is plenty you can hide behind body parts of the car that doesn't mean the weight reduction is not done because you can't see it LoL
Stock brakes , stock battery location , 0 holes in my k member
Oops another stab
The extensively modified 4v made more average power than the extensively modified LS's. If the competition was for peak power the 4vs would have used Sullivan's (like BES's 4v) and would have still won. Kaase's engine made over 850 with a Sullivan and it's cams were spec'd and installed for "max average power." Hell, BES's engine made over 770hp with a sullivan and 4.6 C heads...and still made more average power than the LS's.
BTW, the 5.4 used stock heads, stock intake manifold, stock lash adjusters (lifters), stock followers (rocker arms) and a stock block. Can you say that for the LS's? Which engine's were more "extensively" modified?

Any being able to out perform said car in every way......I think you lost a limb on that one bud.......clean cut.
Btw.....my brakes are not drag brakes.....drilled/slotted. More wrong info on your part. And nothing is hidden behind panels, the main chassis has no wr....nice try again.......stock battery location for me to.....what's your point other than you don't know wtf your talking about??
You guys act like weight reduction is a bad thing???? But yet will want to shove a ls in a crappy fox because it's light......you make no sense.

The 2013 Engine Masters Competition scoring criteria measured the average hp/tq between 3000 and 7000rpm, added the two together, divided it by the engine's CI and multilpied it by 1000. The goal was not peak power (which matters little to performance).

Not needing any boost to get over 130 compared to a car that has not got to 130.........ouch....that stab had to hurt Any being able to out perform said car in every way......I think you lost a limb on that one bud.......clean cut.
