True, I'm glad to have built my own, but since my work duties have taken up so much of my time lately I'm not sure how much I'll be able to dedicate anymore. Unfortunately it's just much more cost prohibitive for me to start having other people work on my car if I need something done. It makes me cringe though. At least if I **** something up I did it so I only have myself to blame. I think in heading that direction, but just glad that the things that have popped up lately with the car have all been things I can take care of rather quickly.

This... After putting the engine together under the carport last summer when it was 100+ all week.... I think I'm almost ready to just take out loans for a shop to do it. Ugh

True. I did my own because of all the horror stories I read about a shops screwing up an engine build I said I'll build my own. At least I know what was done and if it breaks I wouldn't want the BS bickering back and forth (heresay, disputing the $$, etc).
Plus no better feeling then to fire it up and hear it run knowing you put together every bolt/nut.

If my car was an Fbody doing this he'd still hate because it's better and faster than him and he hates when someone is faster than him not sure why though there will always be someone faster

I'd much rather pay someone else to build it for me lol. Wouldn't matter, as I barely have time to touch my car much less mod it anymore and have the time for it.

Not really....I hope mine goes fast too......but mostly I hope it don't blow up again.
No one is jealous. If you noticed in the other thread where he a 10.9 I said good pass and that was it. I still got harped on. I think the problem is he has a needy male fetish to be accepted of some sort.
Talked to him first thing. He said the preload was built in the axle but he don't build them like that anymore.
Unless you have the machines to machine your own stuff then your basically assembling it.
Your results shows too.
It's not about the blower.
I don't like Irun.....I would prefer if his dumbass leaves me out of anything he thinks. Why would I be bitter about anything? If you noticed I was being harped on before I even commented. I then gave everyone what they wanted.

Hio bought the crate engine in his car in early 2002......before there was a pile of parts available for these engines......almost nothing was available in a reasonable price range. It was the most economical way to go with what was available at that time. Besides, I typically enjoy messing with the car and surrounding parts more than the engine. Building engines is expensive.......and I have other **** I would rather spend my money on.
