- it has no carpet
- it only runs on slicks
- your wife or GF won't ride in it
- it has non-glass windows
- it has a parachute
- it has wheelie bars
- it has a fuel cell.
Any 1 of these constitutes a race car IMO.

Because Racecar.

Flame suit on, go.....
Street car here according to the above criteria.

First day I owned it I drove it through a snow storm, so I pass that test too. lol

Sounds about right to me. I went 11.47 at 120.02 with a 1.71 60 in my stalled auto. Car made 455whp and was 3600 with me in it that day. I also did 96mph in the 8th so your car is actually back halfing a bit stronger then mine was. Like Aj said.... its your 8th mile thats slacking... not your back half. Like i said before, i honestly think your short shifting a bit on the first 2 gear changes.

any idea what you were shifting at? What gear do you have in the back again and what tire diameter? Ill ball park where i think you should shift based off that dyno sheet

Well I know I was shifting sooner on the 1-2 shift than the 2-3 and 3-4. 3-4 I try to twist a little harder to keep it In Power into 4 th on that horrible rpm drop. I figure I should shift around 6,600-6,700 as it sits.

And FYI I was 480/460 for my track passes. My rear tires are 28x11.50x15 ET streets at the strip. 3:91 gears

Rockers are a bolt-on to me........I mean it's not like I'm changing cam timing like can be done electronically these days on some cars.

The car is dead silent and traps over 140mph. It gets 28mpg cruising at 65mph. He takes it out every weekend with his wife to a fancy restaurant. It is on factory c2 wheels AND factory c2 tires. He has been featured in quite a bit of magazines for running well into the 10s...almost into the 9s... on a street tire. And no not a DR... a factory all season tire on never anything but 93 octane. Hell its his nice weather daily driver.

Yet according to this site... its a race car and not a street car. Because it has a cage.

Give me a break...
Some people take extra effort to sort their **** out and it pays off....like your 55yrold bud. Some just want to through any pos together and remove their wipers to try to go fast.......oh no di'nt.......oh es I did

Around here you would have to drive over 40 mile just to get to e85.

Not at.....but think what you want. Some don't like to hear the truth so the get offended. Most won't put forth the effort to prove me wrong. Alot will yak about this and that how streetable their **** is......and then jump in their beater to go to work or where ever. That says enough for me.

I'll remember this the next time you pm me for some advice.

So true it almost hurts

It's been a good debate.

.
Sooooo does e85 out of the pump qualify as racecar? I use my car all the time to pick up and drop off my kid at school, run to the store, do whatever. It's well capable of getting into the 9's on my next outing and when the ecutout is closed its quiet as stock. To me that is a street car. Plus the wife can drive it.
A honda could run negative 2's and bridge the time space continuum and still be a pos to me.

E85 is just not available everywhere. You would have to be pretty diehard around here to run it. That extra effort to me makes it unacceptable.

Some people my take it as a discredit and get offended.....so be it. I just like to break it down and see the where's and how's.

Some **** is race car.....look at how many yak about my fp'd t56 and clutch. Then I post a vid of it in traffic....in the ran and heard nothing. Those same people will still yak about it.....all at the same time try to tell me how streetable a caged car on a slick is.

You want to call some one a idiot......look their way.

Based off your new numbers and your gearing/tires/shift extensions....

1-2: 6600
2-3: 6700
3-4: 6800

So without a shift light... just ball park it right at 6700 for each gear change. If it held a rev stronger, id say carry it to 7k... but it starts nosing pretty hard and you picked up A LOT of midrange from that tune. So you can afford to shift mid 6k and come back into the next gear strong.

My guess without dropping weight or changing parts... dialed in I think you will run right in the 123-124mph area running low 11s with a 26.5" stiff wall slick. Get rid of those 28s. You dont have enough gear for your race weight to really snap a low enough 60 ft to run it into the 10s. I would leave the car alone and focus on getting weight out of it in the right places. 26.5" tires of course as well. Those 28s would work great if you trapped 145mph lol. Also the stiffwall will help the car 60 better and get rid of a lot of that 1-2 shift wobble
