So maybe if its true that your car is something then great, but stock for stock ls1>mach1...
And nightmare how many cubic inches/liters is a stock srt8 motor?
^ lol ok he never said stock for stock or bolt on to bolt a ls1 would lose to a Mach so what are you talking about? you got beat by a automatic Mach with bolt ons ?

You can't just go strictly off DA, there are other factors to consider. Track prep being a huge one, some tracks are plain **** and affect times heavily. You're just grasping for straws it seems.

1 million gazillion cubic inches. LOL....I think you meant to ask "NiteriderWS6" who happens to have a cheap knockoff of my awesome user name.

LOL, jk man. I believe they are 6.1 liters....425 HP stock. Don't quote me though.

Not trying to start **** with you, but damn I wish I could get DA like that. We are LUCKY to get DA below 5000. Average is between 5500 and 7000. Eff Utah.

You're telling me! Haha 7000 is definitely on the extremely crappy nights, but it happens a couple times during a racing season. It sucks because I don't even go to the track after early May because my times just get slower as the temps rise.

You want to talk about track prep? SIR (or everytime I have raced there), so many cars that you get one pass per hour, hondas and huge trucks driving right through the water box, and never laying down some VHT. I have faced the wall more times then I care to count at that track on the 1-2 shift. Horrible track prep save for the RIGHT set up cars with bigs and littles or full slicks. Street tires cannot do **** there. Regardless of how shitty the track prep is though, MPH shouldn't be too much of a difference in the same DA regarding 11 and 12 second cars, unless you are truely spinning past the 1/8th.

Yes blacknight i lost to a stalled mach1 on drs with unknown mods. My car at the time had stock shifter, lid, and kdws with 30% tread left. I spun at the line do to lack of experience with racing no big deal. Lifes full of lessons right. Since then i redeemed myself lol.

And okey so srt8 at 376c.i.? With a tune gains decent performance, i can see that. Dad always said no replacement for displacement.

I have heard the same. I'm telling you, SIR SUCKS, and mixed with 5800 DA during monsoon season, it's ******* awful for NA cars. I trapped 112 with my H/C set up in like 42-4500 DA (don't remember), to 115 going to Firebird (32-3500 DA) on the same tune. New tune though, got my 118.54 in 1600 DA, but I digress.

Lucky you.
Yea, thats what I mean, 5800, at a shitty track...I was proud of my 14.1 at 102 lol. Only reason I brought that up is because of the low 14s out at that track, so I still believe, just IMO based off this thread.....those guys SUCK at driving. But, since I have never raced, and doubt I will, at Fortuna, IDK, that track could be complete ****. Thanks though man...can't wait to see what this set up does with a LQ9 and a FAST 102.

The track I run at is known for shitty prep. Most LS1s were running 14's and Sep's full bolt on LS1 couldn't get out of the 13's and his 60' was in the 2.3 range.

It sucks don't it? What was the trap and DA with the 13s and 2.3 60'?

I forgot DA and trap was 111. Doesn't suck for me, I know how to hook up at tracks.

Drag radials help.... a lot. I baby **** my on my ET streets since I still have the 10 bolt. And 111 still in the 13s, But ****, I was doing 13s at 114 on my old 285 Nitto 555 street tires.
