When and where are you going again?
You ran 7.8...did you not? I ran 7.7. Which is slower? And how is a H/C/I stalled auto "damn close in mods" to a bolt on Mach 1?

And next will probably be Carolina, maybe Mooresville to check out my 60' with some changes. Not sure when though, sometime in June-July. I still wanna get the torque boxes done for peace of mind.

What wrong with yours then?? Takes you double the time as that guy to get threw the 1/4. You should get off ls1tech and go fix it.

No one cares about the 1/8. Put on a street tire like he had and do that comparison.

So a 7.69 car "pulls good" but a 7.76 car doesn't accelerate past the 60'. gotcha!

Yea, 7.8 at 89 mph, 1.9 60', 12.22 at 114. Yes, it is one tenth slower, but come on man, I did it on a fukn street radial, lol.

So why didn't you put on drag tires and run 6.8 instead of 7.8? I mean at what point should I care that you ran slower with more mods but with a street tire on an automatic LS1? Excuse me for not understanding the whole point. I'm trying to keep this as close to apples to apples as I can.

Does anyone here think what I'm trying to do is discredit the LS1? If so you are wrong.

The whole argument is you saying that you are equal and they are saying that you aren't.

Look where you are at, you are not going to win this argument. The more you argue, the more you discredit yourself. This is just my opinion, what do I know...I don't have a LS and I don't contribute to this site.

yep.....when one has 4mph more than the other with a .2 worse 60'. that time has to be made up some where or his 1/8 would be slower. It was made up after the 60'.......that's a rather dramtic difference.

I don't think he understands that logic.

The last I checked dot drag radials were drag tires. They sure aren't autox tires. To be apples to apples run on your car on dot dr's that you already have. But we know you won't do that.

Sure you are. There is no other purpose for you here. You don't help anyone. You don't post your results in the drag section to actually contribute. Do you help others on the site???? I have not seen if you did. Are you active in any other section??? Not that I have seen.

I guess you are right. I'm just giving an example from how much hate the bolt on Mach gets.

I am trying to compare apples to apples. My bolt on only stock stalled ls1 on street tires vs your bolt on, slick tire Mach. Your 1 tenth in the 1/8th over mine was because you pulled a much stronger 60'. Ok, within the first 1/8th mile my car with bolt ons has already started coming around hard, and by the 1/4 is running 4-6 mph faster and at least a half second quicker. I'm not putting down your car. I am simply comparing the two to prove that the Machs need more to do the same as a LS1. DRs on that pass would've gained 2-3 tenths, but I never ran them with bolt ons only so I won't speculate. No need to get fiesty, lol.

I'd like to compare m6 to m5. The Mach is already behind the curve so lets not make it worse by throwing in the auto trans lol

A stock stalled auto is slower then a properly driven m6. Now if he had a stall then it would be way different
