Hey, do you have a Mustang dyno anywhere near you down there? Am curious how the car will do on one of those.

If you're really serious about running a Z06 how about going over to CORVETTE forum and asking a local to run you. You're probably not going to have much luck here in the SRK as most of the vette guys don't even post anymore because of the infinite number of trolls who've took over this section.

I am not desperate to run one.. if it happens, it happens. I have heard Corvette Forums is a bunch of old fogies who frown on racing, and would rather talk about which cigar to smoke, or how their golf score was that day.

LOL, that's why I said "you guys". There are no fast Mustangs that frequent this section, they're all slow here.

There are plenty of C6 Z owners with "deep pockets" too so maybe you're a bit out of your league??? J/k

Besides it doesn't take big $ to go fast. Ever heard of going fast on a budget? I built my first 9-second car, Nitrous '86 GT, at 20yo as a college student working two jobs and doing mechanic work on the side. Did all the labor myself.

Where would you like to begin? LOL

Within the first couple of pages you can see where it took a wrong turn. Basically, someone with a MACH 1 posted up an 1/8 mile ET & trap and did a calculation on what it should run in the 1/4. Went bad after that.
