If you're really serious about running a Z06 how about going over to CORVETTE forum and asking a local to run you. You're probably not going to have much luck here in the SRK as most of the vette guys don't even post anymore because of the infinite number of trolls who've took over this section.

 

BTW, if you stang guys were close to me I'd be more than happy to **** on every last one you.

 

I am not desperate to run one.. if it happens, it happens. I have heard Corvette Forums is a bunch of old fogies who frown on racing, and would rather talk about which cigar to smoke, or how their golf score was that day.

Besides it doesn't take big $ to go fast. Ever heard of going fast on a budget? I built my first 9-second car, Nitrous '86 GT, at 20yo as a college student working two jobs and doing mechanic work on the side. Did all the labor myself.

Within the first couple of pages you can see where it took a wrong turn. Basically, someone with a MACH 1 posted up an 1/8 mile ET & trap and did a calculation on what it should run in the 1/4. Went bad after that.

 

You'd try, but fail.

 

 

LOL. What is it about Mach 1's and LS1tech? Always stirrin' up ****.

It's simple. It pisses them off because they run good n/a.

 

If you consider sub 110mph with bolt ons running "good" then whats that make stock LS1 cars?

Is that what determines if a car is running "good" or not? 110 mph traps with bolt ons and a v8?
