It's a Z28 and it does have some steep *** gears. First goes to 60 or higher lol but thing it is never stops pulling. I told him I'm definitely expecting him to come around hard up top. We are buddies and I'm just trying something new on h before we go out street racing against quite a few people we don't know tomorrow night.

In for the vids.
Let me say I have always had great respect for LS1s. One thing I can think of about this car that makes kinda sense to me. When I had a 302 with HCI I thought I had 3.73 gears from how the car ran until one day I crawled under the car and checked and it had 3.08 gears! I thought "holy crap this thing is gonna be a monster with 3.73s!" so I ordered them in a hurry and it did absolutely nothing for my car performance wise but it made the gas mileage go to complete **** with the T5's 5th gear ratio.

I shifted spot on redline when stock... I'm not entirely sure if hitting 6200-6300 would have helped or hurt but my dyno showed power falling off fast in stock form. My setup now screams up to 6600 like its possessed... feels nothing like stock after you hit 5k.

They are horrible inside really... once you are used to it though its no big deal.

I used to hate the interior on f-body's but they've grown on me. If i didn't like my stock steering wheel control things so much id get a momo in a heart beat.

The interior just reminds me of a 04 Silverado. I honestly hate the interior and would never own one because of that. However I love the look of the cars and you can't argue the performance the LS gives. Hell since we are on the topic I do not like the interior of a C5 either! And I actually like alot the view of a Mustang. I felt like I couldn't see **** out of the little Fbody interior! It's been a while.

Nice! Like the seats.
Approx. How much does a set like that weigh in comparison to the stock ones?

Personally don't like the interior of Mustangs..never have idk why. I like the simple to the point LS1 FBody interiors. It is a big dash though. Also don't like the shifter position in Mustangs. I love where it is in my SS.

The kirkleys weigh like 14-16lbs with the brackets and the leather/power seats are 60lbs each i believe, the cloth is around 40lbs each.

I will give you that. But when you learn to powershift a 94-04 Mustang you can pretty much do it in any car.

I hear what you're saying, and this has been debated before. "Do gears make a difference" and in the end it always proves they do.

They give the geared car an advantage over an under geared car by being in the power band.

Am I wrong or am I just high?

Oh and I too hate the interior on F-bods, but Mustangs aren't any better lol

I actually got really used to the Mustang interior. Short-throw is a must though.

I used to think my interior was basic and bland. Then I rode in a new edge. Ugh. Nope would never do it.

Are you serious? The BMW interior in the early 2000s was the most horridly ugly and dated interior known. The only thing worse than it was a Toyotas interior. Want to feel like you are in 1992? Sit inside a 2003 BMW.
