The fbodies have always seems to have a better chassis setup than the fox platform. the s197 is a vast improvement. I was talking about your general cruise night on the strip, or dragstrip stuff.

Drag racing wasn't any better for the Stang, unless you are only talking the first two years of that decade.

I'm talking about performance.....all forms. The road coarse greatly exploited the lack of overall performance by the fox body's.

For sure on the chassis. My camaro rides so much better than the notch, even with 550lb springs on the front.

Right up until 2011 the ls1 laid the smack down on all the n/a mustang stuff. To be honest I can get a bolt-on ls1 to run with or out run the Cobra's.

When I was stock and my buddies 05 GT was stock I beat him unless I spun. so I am pretty confident LS1s had a lockdown on the rest of the years

Once I rebuilt her, cammed up, geared up and finished out the balance of the bolt-ons, the stock blown Mustangs didn't do much better.

So, WTH are ya talkin' about?

No? So are you saying that what IS being said, is that to sustain the claim: 'Mustangs ruled the 00s', one would necessarily need to remove the LT1s from the 90s, from the equation?

LOL! Ok… I'd call that just about right. Not sure how that helps the opposing argument, but it works for me.

8 years of no production=8 years of no Camero's

Can't win if you don't make the car.

There were never any Camero's. There were CamAros and Firebirds .

My beef with that arguement is that mustangs were still slower

Nonsense ... The production vehicles from the 90s still owned Ford's production and still does.

Bring that pile down here and I'll be happy to demonstrate.

Your LT1 nonsense makes whatever you say invalid.
