Would it really matter if I just said a c6 then? Wouldn't have made a difference either way. It was a new gray vette vert with some badges on 7 mile bridge the day after new years. If they don't make Z06's in the vert then I guess it wasn't.

Could have been just the stock badges, I didn't stop and stare while fully tucked well into the triple digits.

 

It makes a difference... especially with the trolling that goes on here. I give a **** if you won or lost but I do prefer factual details to made up random ****. Easy mistake to make if you don't know anything about the z06.

I understand the sheer amount of BS trolling in SRK, and I hate when people aren't specific myself, but I wasn't trying to retell kill story or focusing on the race - just agreeing on how easy it is to get runs in that area like Lemons said. A lot of long open roads and a good amount of nice cars...it would be a blast to troll around there in a sleeper car. I honestly didn't know Z06s don't come in verts, and never really thought about exactly what car it was since it honestly didn't matter to me.

I know it sounds dick-bag, but honestly on the 14R you don't really care when a car tries to run you, and don't pay attention to what it is unless its some crazy rare exotic. Just like how most of the guys on here with built drag cars wont pay attention to what year and model Honda it was that revved at them.

I'm still surprised Chevy didn't do a 6l90e in the Z06 when the 556hp LSA CTS-V had one and the new ZL1s have them as well

It is a Z06 by any other name.. just a convertible. It has the drivetrain. So just call it a 427 convertible... Z06 convertible... same thing. But let's argue this point for 3 pages.

Sure the steel frame on the vert is identical to the all aluminum frame of the z06. Must be the same car....

It's not a z06.. It doesn't have the RPO and its not the same chasis. I'm sure you will find other things missing from the vert as well.
