they should change the section name to the "name calling and bench racing section" seriously guys all the name calling and calling people stupid is making u guys seem that way.
as far as the race in question..a bolt on ls2 vette would get beat by a well riden 600. its just strait physics.. but ANYTHING can happen on the street and at those high speeds the favor goes to the vette slightly. **** OP doesnt even know what bike it was so really who knows what he ran. either way nice kill on the bike and if u want to turn this thread around id get a set up race with a bike u can identify and do a couple different runs on vid. go from say 50 to 130.. and 100 to 150. problem solved

Razor has this guys nuts so far down his throat OP is asking him to switch to softer toilet paper.
OP's first post is full of examples why people think Corvette owners are tools whether it was intended or not. Sorry, but I nearly spit coffee everywhere when he insinuated it had to be bigger than a 600 and talked about putting the convertible top up...

Maybe you should know what your talking about before you talk out of your a**; Z51 cars have a different 6-speed trans with shorter gearing than the non-Z51 base cars, generally .1-.2 seconds faster in a 1/4 mile than non-Z51 cars, so yes they are faster genius.

If anything, the rider on the bike was the cocky one with the wave he gave me to give me the jump from a 100 mph roll and he got showed up. I never said I'm going to beat any bike from any type of race or my Vette is the fastest car on earth. I think I've said that 3 or 4 times now but some of you guys can't read apparently.

Callmedoc, two things: you are saying the gearing makes your car faster. But yours is a vert, correct? So that menas its heavier than a reg z51, and YOU stated that it was different gearing, but that is for low end, Correct? So how does that help at 100 MPH, in general like you stated.

Older bikes are really snails compared to anything fuel injected or close to new, that is why most people are telling you, you have no real chance against a well riden bike.

Every time I come back to this forum, there seems to be some more ridiculous comments....
The base convertibles don't weigh much more, if any, than a base coupe. Do your research. The C6 was designed as a Vert' before it was a coupe (just like the C5), hence there is no need for the extra heavy bracing/supports/ect. Lack of the rear window of the coupe negates much of the weight difference.
And how the hell is a "stock" LS1 f-body beating an LS2 C6?? This is ridiculous and negates any of your credibility, "just saying."
Yea, sure man. Having the top down at speeds >100 mph doesnt slow my car down one bit, sure.

Ridiculous. I've called out Tuned350Z or whatever who is in Texas for a run, but all talk apparently.
Anyway, my car is getting an Edelbrock E-force within the next few weeks or so. Just deciding on cam+ boost or boost alone. I don't really want to ruin it's drivability.
