But your driving ability is not NEARLY enough to overcome the deficit that GTOs face...

Haha, it didn't suffer from "typical" GTO issues when it was a "typical" GTO. Fuckstick here just can't seem to comprehend anything beyond what he has personally witnessed. I've never seen humans land on the moon...

I agree. Too much car, and far too nice a car for such a d-bag.

Well, I just got home with an 06 GTO. Traded the SS (the one in the vid) and brought home an 06 manual GTO, black with intake and some mufflers. Pulls good for being so close to stock, no traction period. Couldn't be happier with the trade honestly. Its every bit as quick mod for mod as any f-body I've had and will do just fine at the track once I get some MTs under her.

Good buy! I toyed with the idea of getting a GTO way back in the day (before they had the LS2), and drove an LS1 6spd version. Great car overall, best interior to ever go in an American car at that point (even though it really isn't an "American" car ). I think if it had been an LS2 6spd that I drove, I probably would have bought it. Good luck with the car, post pics!

congrats on the new purchase! If you want to know the typical issues to look for and first things to mod/fix etc then shoot me a PM.

Congrats man, there excellent cars. My main gripe is the cost of damn parts. Freaking ridiculous!! The stock ls2 intakes are pretty restrictive, tires/gears/intake and you have a pretty stout car on your hands!

I got tired of the cost of parts, so I made all my own ****.

Absolutley Love the interior, but god there so heavy. The seats are 62# each iirc. I literally just weighed mine, and it weighs #3340 with the iron block and full interior, I lost 200# with the rear swap!

I like it! Although if i could make a small recommendation... increase the diameter of the lower control arms.

The tops are fine even though they are the same because they are so much shorter. With that long of a lower arm... Id want much bigger chromoly tubing. But all together. I like it!
