Haha! It's all good.

4pointSelfie, you were owned on Svtp so I'm not at all surprised by your attempt to brush it off as something you don't care about.

My camaro weighs 3275 lbs, GTO weighs 3700-3800 lbs. That's ~500

Yea right. My vert is down to 3450 with a 150 lbs removed. My T-top A4 SS was about 3350 with weight (about 100lbs) removed. Both full interior.

No Camaro is lighter than 3450 lbs stock. Verts are 3600 lbs. GTOs are all over 3800..so if you have weight reduction, let it be known that you are comparing YOUR camaro to stock GTOs, not all Camaros vs GTOs like you have been.

Unless you're trolling, in which case you just suckered me into responding. Congrats.

From what I've seen, GTOs are under 3,800lbs. ~3,750lbs is what I keep seeing.

So you are comparing a modified car to a stock one? Just so you know you can get a GTO down to 3500lbs so much for that 500 lb difference.

Mod for mod and stock for stock, f body > gto. Once you start modding both it becomes clear which is the better platform, I used the tubular k member as one of the many advantages of the f body once you start modding both. Thought the context and meaning of the example was clear, guess not.

IRS simply does not compare with SRA, either. Let's see a stock suspension and rear end gto that runs 10s(this is an example, an EXAMPLE ).

A z28 camaro is ~3300 lbs, a gto ls2 is ~3700-3800 lbs. That is ~400-500 lbs. Am I wrong or am I right?

If there were to be a poll on ls1tech as to which is faster stock for stock and mod for mod, it would unanimously be the f body in one (if not both) categories.

Stock for stock? Like LS2 GTO vs LS1 F-body? I doubt you'd see the results you're predicting, also...unanimously? You know what that word means, right? It means every single voter would vote for the f-body without a single vote for the GTO.

It was a figure of speech, a hyperbole.

How many examples do you want? I've pulled up several right off the bat, but the one that sticks out the most is Gforce 1320 running 9.72@141 with nittos and drag bags. Several in the 10's, and had I not been up here in 3,800 da if have one aswell.

Quickest stock LS2 GTO is 12.6x. That's factory stock.
