Im not sure I see a cam only LS motor making 470whp. I've seen max effort H/C set-ups make 500whp. Which, is pretty bad ***, but that's probably a pretty radical cam, compression, etc. The fox I posted was on pump 93 with a 10.4:1 CR and what looked like a simple cam set-up.
i would actually expect a cam to give me about 60hp~

As I said, 347s and LS1s should make the same power when going heads/cam, Mustang wins because of superior chassis. Bolt ons isn't close because foxes use a head that was designed in the early 80s.

504hp junkyard 302. 504 hp with kaase p-38 canted heads.
they are not Windsor parallel valve heads. these are canted no compromise heads, and full porting opens more power. Cleveland power in a Windsor block.

Actually no.....you should really edumacate you self. Ls stuff can get to 600whp~ na with gm stuff. That would be a ls7 with a gmpp stage 3 cam. Plus you have 2 different ls crate engines to pick from. One with 620 and the other 700+.
You should step outta furd land.
What I've always like about gm stuff is i can get it done with production parts good enough for me. That helps keep costs down and support other bad habits
