Besides all the BS, anyone know the spec on the comp cam they used in the LS?

With ported heads, it does sound very mild.

Yes. Cam only ls3's are from m 475-510 rwhp. That article is a joke. Cam only coyote engine Dyno torque is usually 450-475 lb-ft. Cam only coyotes in the 480 rwhp range. Roadrunner In the 510 range.

If that was a 2015 coyote they match a ls3 in power cam only

No. My health is slowing progress. I will make a pass or two at bowling green when The car is ready. It's header install, drag strut/springs, bigs/littles, and rear suspension stuff away. 10.5" x 28" soft sidewall slicks. I may gear it but that's not needed. Want a 10 sec pass the first and last outing.

a typical ls3 is around 500 rwhp cam only.

full sausage build cam only would be closer to 550.

Some people just don't want to fiddle faddle around trying to break out of the 12's. BTW nice 11.6 pass man! Which tires were you on and what was your lower control arm angle?

Hoosier drag radials. Rear suspension is all stock except the shocks

meh... this was NA where the LS excels. There is a FI comparison in the works. I am certain we will see the Coyote come out ahead on that one. LS can't compete with the 5.0 on boost.

FI is where the 5.0 shines.... NA is where the LS has an advantage.

I completely disagree. I would say advantage to the man with more money in his pocket.

That's with any car.

Fact is I've seen more high powered SLB 2015+ 5.0s than Ls3s.

No, its a fact. The 5.0 makes more power pound per pound. Its a much more efficient design than the pushrod ls3 for FI applications.

That is always true. But all things equal... 5.0 all day on FI

They put the parts on the 5.0 that the coyote guys were crying their eyes out over and it still came up short on power.... Surprise
