It happens all the time. Maybe you just aren't coherent enough to realize it cause you head is up the feather dusters ***.

Ive actually splained it about phils 5gen several times. It only turns into a **** storm.

Alot of that is also the basis to i tell guys they don't need a cam.....atleast not yet. Let's face it....alot of it goes over people's heads including your. Some are even willing to just spray it instead of figuring it out. That's how outta touch some are.

Here's the real kicker.....none of it would show up on a dyno. Only in acceleration. So if you remember ive said many times about acceleration only mods.

just to address this again. Remember me saying it's all about tq??? Well.....there's no horsepower management in your pcm. It's all tq based. This is because tq is the only power.

Usually your posts are a slew of "bitch" and "dumbass" and dems rather that actual information and correct (for the most part) english. Forgive me for being astounded.

Ssssooo.......isn't the goal acceleration? If it is then there is other stuff that will affect it more than that cam.

Now if you want a dyno number then continue on.

I can understand stand that. Especially for a hotrod. But even with the goofy truck cam there's usually alot of power left on the table. Richard holdener tests alot of those. But I've never seen him really go after power with one.

I think you just summed up the entire performance aftermarket segment

You'd be hard pressed to find someone who didn't want a better dyno and faster et/trap -

440whp to 610whp will accomplish both goals - all things being equal

No i didn't sum it up. Looking for power does not always equal acceleration. It's 2 completely different things.

No rabbit chasing here. Seems you may be chasing it tho. What other mods you doing? Or already done?

Interesting info about the TQ management.
It's a major issue on 6th gens. I didn't realize it was so bad on 5th gens also.
My initial tune on my 6th gen was so fucked that the car pulled timing like a son of a bitch and trap speed was 10 mph lower than it should have been.
Crazy part is the car dyno'd 590 whp and like 575 wtq

Got it tuned right and dyno'd 550 whp 540 wtq
Car isn't pulling timing so bad and can accelerate strong now

Got around to weighing the dragpack vs stock base model LT1 wheels .

Stock wheels 60lbs total 240lbs

F14s fronts 17x5 Mickey Thompson ET fronts -27.8lbs per wheel

F14 rears 15x10 Mickey Thompson -37.8 lbs per wheel

F14 total weight 131.2 lbs for a savings of 108.8 lbs over stock very happy .

Speaking of weight..

I have been keeping tabs on my new project (2014 Coyote Auto) and I know most of you dont care but I figured factual data would be nice to share. I brought the car home in November and weighed it right away, bone stock with a full tank of gas and the spare, jack, etc. and it was 3660. I have since made these changes:

Drag Pack, Spare and Jack removed
Tubular Radiator Support
Front and Rear Sway Bar Delete
Sway Bar Brace Delete
Axle Weight Delete
Sound Tube Delete
Engine Cover Removed
Cats removed
Aftermarket X Pipe

I weighed it on my was home and it was 3480 with just under 3/4 of a tank. Not too bad.

Went to my mexico and tested a 3rd gear burnout with the TH400 in the WhiteWhale ®. Seems like it was pretty successful.
