Things are quiet here, I bought a 2004 cl55 amg, my best pass stock is a 8.24@ 90 mph in the 1/8th mile, I ordered a smaller supercharger pulley, and a mail order tune, it adds 3 psi of boost, takes it from 11psi to 14 psi, any guess on what it will run? Everything else will be stock.

damn that’s pretty stout. My z28 (LID/FRA only) did 8.4 @ 86mph and your AMG is way more potent before your mods. Should move out pretty damn good!

I did 1 dragy run, 8.1@91, after the pulley, but not the tune yet, and it's been too hot to really want to beat on the old mercedes lol

nice car.when i ordered the coyote i was looking at a e55, CTS-v(ls2), a GT500, and a supercharged jag.

the V has a getrag glass jaw rear....the 4.2 supercharged jag has little support....the gt440 weighs 4200 and cant get out of its own way without a complete engine......the E55 or the caddy is what i should have bought.

spinning the stock cl55 supercharger to 600rwhp. that just reading. wish i had either one.

im fully cammed now in the coyote, and i'm old and scared. only two races in the last bunch of years. a FBO supercharged roush. and a probably stock carrera. i just wish i had a better car.

at least chevrolet offers a controller for their 10 speed. there still is no support for a 10 speed ford. the ford 10 speeds fail. the chevy doesnt. BOTH ARE THE SAME TRANS.

im getting rid of the cobra jet intake, and the super CJ oval TB.

trading power to put a gt350/bbk TB and a shaker hood scoop. looks matter more than power. it aint getting raced. i will put whatever intake i have to so i can put a shaker hood scoop on it. cams will make the power no matter what intake it has.

has to be sleeved to add cubic inches from stroke.

back to e55/cl55 being awesome. enjoy. i still wonder if a man could fab a big single and plumb it into the manifold for REAL max power.

Ive never touched a nitrous car before. Thinking about going that route with my LS1 till i get the 408. Is there a good "nitrous for dummies" source somewhere?

if you want to know what we do, we just put in colder plugs, add a couple gallons of race gas, and put 150 on it, without issues except it eats 4l60's lol

Good thing I have a T56 lol. We'll see how long it last on a 28" hoosier and spray.
