When I was at the track last time there were a couple of mach 1's.
They were trapping 103. And running consistant 13.5's.
Only saw one run of the one, but the other was a tad quicker. I know he had full exhaust and a raised shaker, but didn't talkt to him.
I was trapping 105-107, with lid and cai.
And I think they were better drivers because I was running 13.5@107 while they were doing it at 103.

How about another best of 3 out of 5 N/A races? I MIGHT let you win one...

PRP is at fairly high altitude (1250 feet) & that' going to effect ET/MPH a good bit...

you actually count that last run when you left and my brake lights were still on? and what about last time when you wouldnt even line up w/me? i think the winner is the guy holding the quickest/fastest slip!!

My car runs well and you know it. I'm not going to bench race the subject.

*edit - btw, both of their cars were bone stock.....from air filters to tires....*

When have I EVER said my car was close to stock????? It LOOKS stock.
What was your ET when you ran your 11? For the record you had full exhaust, 4.11s, and your cam (biggest mods).
I have all your power mods MINUS the cams and I was running only one to two tenths off of your time with more than a 100 hp deficeit and some weight reduction! ie: 11.90 (you) vs 12.06 (me). Add my cams and I'll let you do the math on a new et.
How fast do you think I'll be when the cams are in? Still slower than you?? Come on...I should be pushing close to 370+ rwhp with the cams, not to mention what the intake would add.
LS1's are ultimately faster. The point is you are not ULTIMATELY there yet, neither am I with my 4v.

Read post #83 again, I mentioned my weight reduction (I also outweigh your person by 100 lbs).
It's going to be a good race. You and the new C6 can have at each other too since it's fixing to be "not stock" anymore. Fun, fun, fun...

I'm almost always the only Mach there when I go. Just out of curiosity, the 14's you see bieng run, is it an Azure blue Mach? I've seen one there running 14's on two different occasions I think.

Wow...this was an interesting read. Two great cars......drivers race.
Slow vette, jester, grey, angus - how's it going?
Seriously though, is it that hard for everyone to admit stock for stock it comes down to skill of the driver - ESPECIALLY on the street. MPHs are higher on LSx, no doubt, but the ETs are about dead even.

I thought it might have been. A disappointment to the marque. Mines white, but I don't go to PRP to much anymore. Tired of getting only two runs in.
