Default beat buy a grand national

i was pullin out of the walmart parking lot the other night onto a 2 lane road which is basically a one way when i notice a clean yet stock looking red grand national behind me. he pulls over to the right lane about 2-3 cars behind me and wacks on it. i nail it at about the same time and holly ****! i could hear his turbo like nothing ever before. i mean, over my exhaust and stereo!! yup. so, he kind walked up on me and just as he sided with me he had to slow cause of some cars. as he let off it sounded like his BOV was going to explode!! lol. had to have been a 9 second car!! older guy too! time for a KB 2.6! current standing: 0-1.

It was probably a T-type. I don't know many idiots that would paint a GN red. Good death btw, that is the 71 Hemi Cuda of the 80's.

dang that thing must have been haulin..the only turbo buick i have ever ran was a gn that was only lightly modded i believe. We were going about 50 or so and coming from a two lane road up to a one lane so we both punched it to try to get ahead of each other and when we got to the one lane road he was at my back bumper so i barely beat him.

I admire you for posting a death like that. So many people only report kills. Good one.

I have been kicking around the idea of trading my cammed 98 T/A for an 86/87 GN. I've always like those cars. My boss way back in 1991 had an 87 that was stock and it was spotless. What a nice car. They are very quick cars with just a few small mods.

hey KEE AUDIO, your not very far from me, maybe 2 hours north. you ever come down and race at SGMP? Its like exit 34 on I-75 or something like that. we are all going out on the 26th for test and tune weather permitting, you should come down. its probably the nicest track in GA. theres alot of v8 guys down here, alot of them being LS1's.

Until the day my car is a nine second car, here are my following rules when i street race at any spot because these cars get you when you least expect it and have beaten a few real bad

1.No, i will not race your fox body

2.no, i will not race your 1960-78 truck that sounds like godzilla is under the hood

3. I will not race your DSM

4. and i most CERTAINLY will not race your GN.

cool death but it was more then likely heavily modded don't give into that crap about their "no joke" come on people what car with a turbo is a joke? but the mustangs cleaned their clocks many years ago and left them out in the pasture! sure their are some fast as hell GN's but their are some fast *** Honda's too with smaller motor's and bigger turbo's so whoop tee do! I bet the next GN you run across you smack it around just take the loss and as a great one to a race car that somebody dare to drive on the street!

Dude, #2 has me laughing my *** off over here. Especially since last week I sold my 73 Duster for a 72 Chevy pickup that sounds like Godzilla is under the hood.

Still dunno if I'll put a Weiand on it, its pretty fast N/A.

Edit - I still cant stop laughing. #2 is just ******* hilarious.

Nice death. and +1 that most GN's that are on the road these days are not stock. I can't remember the last time a saw a stock GN drivin around.
