I did mine at 70.5mm, just make sure the part that sits on the hub is tapered. I had to taper mine with a dremel so the rotor would sit flush with the hub.

NAPA stock replacement rotors measured 70.6mm so that is what I will have the 5th Gens machined to.

I wish there was an easy way to measure how much of a spacer I need. I'd hate to do trial and error with a $100 pair of spacers.

i went with Kore3 and they arrive within 2 days. there is a recent thread that said Flynbye wasnt answering phone calls or responding to emails (maybe busy) so i went to Kore3 and got them fast. either place will get you what you need and for a decent price.

So I'm ready to go except I gotta get my rotors opened up to 70.6mm. I'm finding it more difficult than I expected it would be. Any words of wisdom or advice?

Also, I found out that my front CCW's are 19x9 with a +41 offset.

Do you have a local machine shop? They just need a lathe with a big enough chuck to clamp the rotor.

That's what I'm looking for. I have a call into one place and he said to bring him the rotor and he'll see if he can do it.

Double check I am planning to order thru Amazon.com;
correct items?:
caliper driver side: ACDelco # 172-2288
caliper pass. side : ACDelco # 172-2308

Wrong item # 172-2287 looks like Trans filter...

Pin kit: ACdelco: 18K1971X
Correct all items?

I ordered 172-2287 and I got the right one, It did throw me off a little bit because of the wrong picture though.

Yeah, the picture they have is wrong, but the item number is correct. I told Amazon this and they said they'd correct it. I guess they haven't yet.

same here, they still have not corrected the picture, but this also brought the supply and demand down which allowed me to pic up that one for just one 100 bucks!

I just noticed that the new 5.0 mustangs have the same brembo brakes on the front but they still retain the small brakes on the back. So their brakes look just like mine with 14 inch rotors upfront and some small rotors on the back with what looked like one piston floating calipers.

The Zo6 rotors gm19121787,AC delco 177-1000 have jumped in price on amazon and other sites. So would the gen5 be cheaper after having to open them up or fork out the extra for Zo6 rotors or aftermarkets?
