Default Torque Arm....tunnel brace mounted.....which has the best clearance......

I'm lowered so I need the one that tucks up the best......

Also....money really isn't an issue. Which is best for me. Roll racer only. No drag racing.

Its getting a 200 shot of spray soon, later the Modular Turbo TT kit........so I want something that will NOT need upgrading later.

And do I get an adjustable or non-adjustable......?

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm putting in a 4L80E......

Hello,

For a set up that tucks up the highest and offers the most clearance, I recommend a transmission mounted torque arm with a torque arm relocation kit.

This set up will handle all the abuse you can put to it so you won't need to change or upgrade down the road. I posted three links below, two links for the torque arm and relocation kit and the third link is for a build we did that has tons of pictures of this set up and the clearance.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Whatever you do, do not use a tunnel mount torque arm. You will hate it. This is what we recommend from BMR. We sell other brands but we HIGHLY recommend BMR. No 2 week wait time with zero updates, ships within 1-2 business days.

Unfortunately UMI does not have that relocation bracket available. You need this:

I'm also interested in purchasing a and adjustable TQ Arm/T-56 crossmember combo. Any chance a vendor wants to step up and offer a group purchase?

Only issue I have with my suspension is my UMI drivrshaft loop has terrible clearance. Hangs super low.

We've ran that with their torque arm and relocation kit with 1" lowering springs and 1-7/8" headers with no issues.
Aftermarket performance parts are usually designed around a stock setup. i.e. 1-7/8 headers with a 3" y-pipe is designed to fit to a stock exhaust and vice versa on a 3" exhaust. While mfg's try to make accomodations to work with a setup that may not be stock, it's impossible to cover all bases. Each car is different also even though it may be the same make and model.
