Update:
We have great news on the coilovers we have been developing with Sam from Strano Parts. Wednesday the UMI crew returned from its last test secession with great news, the shocks have passed the Strano test! After 4 to 5 different revisions, a lot of miles and modifications Strano and UMI together have established what we feel is one awesome set up with a pretty great price. Sam is very picky about how his shocks should work so it took a lot of time to develop a shock that works for him, but together we have done it. Taking Sam's knowledge and driving skills and applying it with UMI that can build about anything... well we made a pretty great team.
Here's a little info on what we will be offering. Right now the shock will be a single adjustable in rebound, monotube, the range is high with 42 adjustments but of course the range isn't all usable depending on what spring rate you run. The shock itself is an aluminum body coilover shock mounted to the car using spherical bearings on both ends, this means no rubber or poly bushing slop. The front shock bolts in using UMI brackets and eliminates the upper rubber shock mount, more rubber gone, less deflection. Both front and rear shocks are bolt in using brackets designed and built by UMI. All 4 shocks are coilover and use 2.5" standard springs, this makes ride height adjustments easy, corner weights and easy spring rate changes. Also the shock is USA built!
With in the next 1-2 days we will have a final price. I will post a realistic idea though. The entire kit which would include all 4 shocks, all 4 springs, thrust bearings for each shock, spanner wrench to adjust height, hardware and all the brackets needed to mount them will be in the $1,799-$1,849 range. Unless something unexpected pops up that is close.

Hey Ryan,
Do you sell that mount for the bearing style afco's?

"The AFCO front coil overs for the 4th gen use a bearing mount on top and bottom and a standard 2-1/2" spring. They eliminate the front upper rubber shock shock mount."

The rubber upper mount disappears with this setup.

Yes, I want to know as well.
IF they are a true coil over in back, and mounted up into the unibody shock recess, is there any mounting surface reinforcement supplied, or do we have to weld/bolt in our own plates for added strength, and then drill them?
Also, will you sell just the fronts alone, or the fronts with a non-coil over damper rear (valved for whichever stock sized spring rate we plan on using)??

Well it looks like I've found my last planned suspension upgrade for the bird! Almost all the best stuff on my car is hidden from view ![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
That's a pretty reasonable price. I might have to travel to find somebody that can corner balance the car though, might have to go visit Vorshlag or somebody else in the DFW area.

I feel like the double adjustables will definitely hike up the price some, yet will be worth every bit of price increase vs the rebound only kit. Imma make a prediction, just because... 2100 give or take $50. Just a random guess, I just finished my math review-that's probably why I wanted to assign a number to it
