Default how much to lower on a drag setup?

trying to get my car out the 4x4 status. just curious of what the average drop is. I don't want it slammed. I was thinking like a 1" drop would work well. I searched but didn't really find the answer I wanted. currently on stock shocks/springs.

cant speak for that, I have Kooks true duals and I don't have too many issues, unless its over massive speed bumps which I avoid at all costs. I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there on lowering springs running dumps though.

A good launch wants max weight transfer which is
hurt by lowering the CG. No lowering spring helps
in any way, the 60'.

Best look is Eibach with Bilstein but as far as ride and comfort many people say strano springs with koni or bilsteins.

You would be surprised how well you can get a properly set up lowered car to launch. Here are a couple of cars I have help set up here locally that cut 1.3X-1.4X 60ft times consistently. The black T/A pictured here cuts low 1.3X 60ft times consistently and the silver Camaro cuts low 1.4X 60ft times consistently. So in other words it is all about the combination.
