http://www.wilwood.com/PDF/ds446.pdf

then verify the distances required in the wheel clearance diagram, Figure 2, page 3.

The OEM 17x9.5" +54mm offset Z06 rims fit my StopTech ST-40 kit fine, just don't know if the kit you mention would.

You are correct on the brake lines since your stock lines will not attach to the Wilwood caliper. Also, I checked and it seems that there may be some problems with fitment. I may have some solutions, so drop me a PM if you would like to know more info.

I have the Precision Brakes 6 piston wilwood kit and it fits under my 10 spoke SS wheels (but it's not the same as the kit that Wilwood sells, it's custom built by Precision Brakes). And, the kit works great.

Wilwoods will fit fine under 17" wheels.

depends on the options you have... the trans am rims are 17"... the more common size rims are 16"

look at your tire, and you'll see numbers like 245/50-16
the last two after the dash is your rim size.

theres a wilwood kit that will fit under 15x8 rims from 2nd gen. I would go with a 4 piston setup at all 4 corners instead of 6 in front 2 in back..my 2 cents.

Sounds like you have the stock 16" Chrome wheels. The centers caps are black and say ABS. No they will not fit under the stock wheels. Trackbird I was thinking that the wilwoods did not have dust boots and were bad for racing???

They have no dust boots. But, they are great for racing (you inspect race cars regularly). I drove them on the street and have had no issues with mine (even in winter and salt, snow).

We installed the Porsche brakes on a friends car, but I put the writeup on my site. So, no, I wasn't running the Porsche stuff myself.

Scroll up, and PM VictorT (he's from Precision brakes) about them. I'm sure he can take good care of you. I may not have the latest prices and info, so, I'll refer you to the source.

With 17 inch wheels, you will have no problem fitting a 13 inch rotor kit, but a good way to know is with the use of a template. Let me know if you need more details.
