Default loud bang coming form right rear corner

I posted this in the suspension section since it seems to be an issue with the suspension. I looked over my suspension visually and saw notihng out of order. However, sometimes when I floor it I'll hear a very loud bang coming from the right rear corner. Any idea what this might be?
car is a 99 transam 4sp AT.

Do you still have your spare tire/jack and is it secure?

spare and jack are removed as are any other misc items form the cars interior. this is definatly from under the car. I've heard it MIGHT be caused by a loose control arm.
but I'd like another opinion b4 i crawl under her this weekend.

It could very well be that your LCA bolts are not torqued down properly. Tighten them up and see if that fixes the problem.

Sounds like wheel hop to me. My car did it in the dry with the original GSC tires and now only in the wet on certain surfaces with the stickier GS-D3 tires. Also a bad Tranny mount will make wheel hop worse.

It could be your exhaust as it goes over the axle. The hangar bushing tends to wear out on the passenger's side.

I checked all of the above and seem to have concluded that I am indeed bottoming out on launches which I've heard of the 6spd cars doing a lot. but not the auto cars like mine very often.

check your pan hard par bolts and make sure they are tight. i was having the same problem and one of the bolts were loose from launching.
