Default Buying wife 2011 Kia Sorento this weekend.

Anyone have one of these yet? The freaking quality is amazing on these new Kias. We are getting a pearl white 2011 with leather, third row seating, heated seats, push button start for alittle under 25k. Looking around at similar suv's this cant be beat. And the warrant is great. 7 year 100k power train and 5 year 60k bumper to bumped included free

That should be irrelevant, total cost of ownership is what counts.

Total dollar in to total dollar out.

powertrain is relative. Look at the discloser, every manufacturer includes a different list or parts/components that they cover.

Who is to say they don't have crappy electrical system/components. Those I know for a fact won't be covered under the powertrain.

I specifically asked if electrical was covered and they stated yes. But I will make sure to ask again

Doesn't matter what they say, only what is in writing (obviously you probably know that, it's just such a pain trying to read the fine print of a warranty or any contract that most people don't and many dealerships will say it's covered just to get you out the door with your money in their pocket.)

Ya, they are 100 times better. The reviews and ratings are off the charts.

They will say anything to sell it, you have to look at the disclosures. You wouldn't believe how many pissed off customers I seen in service telling them that they had an extended warranty or that it covered everything. Either they sold them some bullshit aftermarket warranty which usually doesn't cover **** or they sold them a maintenance plan and had no warranty.

Sales people = vultures

they are revolving doors so when it happened the sales person no longer worked there..

It is a good deal only if you are not concerned with re-sale ... plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Be aware that Kia's and Hyundai's have absolutely no re-sale value.
