Default Built a custom sub box for the daily. Can you say Pancake

Decided the daily needed some tunes in it.So project low budget, good sound was started.I decided I wasnt going to sacrifice any leg room so that meant the seat still had to slide completly back and still be able to recline to the max.The speaker I decided on was Pioneers new pancake subwoofer series.Never heard one before but figured since the cab was so little I didnt need much anyway. The sound is unbelievable for only being 2.5 inches deep. The bass is deep and the MB Quarts take care of the rest.

The MB's

The side by side

The Sub

The build

Look at how much real estate was sacrificed

The Powerplant

Definitely don't make em like they used to.20 years later and the amps still going strong.I'll admit to I was skeptical on the sub to but now I'm a believer.

Took me a couple hours over 2 weekends in my free time as I did it on my off day.And the headunit is an old school sony I had laying around for about 7 years but it gets the job done.

Those flat Pioneer subs can sound real clean if you take the time to dial it in. I don't know how so mine sounded pretty bad sometimes.
