**** Jermaine Dye. That ball hit his bat!! He even looked at the wrong arm as he was walking to first. He had to look at the ump to make sure he could go to first!!

They need to trade Brad Lidge. That is the 2nd time he has done that in the last 2 games he has pitched in.

Thats a dumb statement, we wouldn't have even gotten to the playoffs without Lidge. **** happens

Dye taking the hit on his bat for 1st base was somewhat unethical and lame, but I can't say I blame him if the ump was that blind.

 

Stick a fork in the Astros they're done. No way they can dig out of this hole. Its O V E R. This is just what the Fox and the national media wants anyway. The AL and the big market teams are their darlings. Those a-holes would've sh*t they're pants if the Astros had somehow won the World Series. I guess they got their way. This is just a great freaking way to start the week off.

Ya I know, but he is the CLOSER! That is his job. And especially to screw up in the World Series of all times. If you weren't doing your job, wouldn't you get fired?.

I'm pissed off, thats why Im saying all this. I know the rest of the team should have scored more runs. How bout Burke scoring from 2nd!?!?!? That kids got some *****!!

 

Lidge sucks under pressure.. Hes a very good player, don't get me wrong.. But the last two times we've needed him.. He ***** up really good!

Well, Lidge needs to get out of this rut and start playing again. I know crap happens, but twice in a row...cmon.

Well on to game 3 on Tuesday night at home.

 

I still think Wheeler blew the game, we had a 2 run lead before his inning of pitching, and came out of it with bases loaded (walking a lame-hitting batter? WTF!) to set up the grand slam. That pissed me off more than Lidge letting one loose.

I'm an Astros fan, but I'm not going to get my hopes up with any thoughts of digging out of this hole. If it happens, great, I'm not going to worry about it.

 

Even though we lost it was a good game to watch... Now i cant wait to go to work; boss is from Chi-town..... never gonna here the end of this one...
