Default Whats considered high mileage on a bike?

I'm looking into getting a bike for weekends and I'm not sure what is considered high mileage for a bike. Just as an example, found a 2000 R6 w/ 14k miles, would this be considered high miles?

If the bike is 7 years old, that would put it at 2k miles a year. I see that as low because I have a '06 model that I'm trying to sell that only has 1400 miles. I hardly ever ride the bike and that's what I've accumulated.

30k miles on a bike is commonly associated with 100k car miles. On that scale it's only halfway through its lifespan.

As previously said, if you're considering this for a first bike, that will do the trick fine. Dont get a nice bike, because you're going to drop it and probably destroy it.

You might be able to find a F3 or F4 cheaper but for sure get what you feel comfortable on.

id just get the F4i, the fact that it went to a split seat instead of the banana seat and the FI makin it easier to work on makes it worth lookin at over the carbed ones

maintenance is the key. if it was well taken care if, then 15-20k miles isn't unreasonable for a 4-5 year old bike.

May need a valve inspection/adjustment at that mileage. Also, depends on how the owner treated it before. Not reving it while its cold or jumping on it and gunning it. Or just plain reving it of the rev limiter for no reason. If its been abused, often it may be or soon lose 2nd gear.
