Google Ads?
With as many f-body/LS1 sites as there are out there, I dont see this one generating the same readership as it did before. If I cant click and get the page quickly, or go back quickly I usually just move on to another site. If this keeps up, eventually I will just stop coming alltogether.
Its a shame, because I have found more worthy parts venders here than ever before, but now nothing. I guess I will try that www.myls1.com and see how that goes.
That's all I'm saying on the matter.
I personally think that instead of people saying things like "Down with google ads!!!" they should be saying "Down with Internet Brands!!!" because that's where the real problem lies. The site has been degraded ever since they took over. Rules were VERY strictly enforced, some were banned for no apparent reason, the search NEVER worked right (you could say it works now all you want to but its still ******* terrible). I blame this solely on Internet Brands. Two other sites that I visit, camaroz28.com, and thirdgen.org are nearly the same size as LS1tech in regards to number of posts, number of topics and number of members, yet they don't have a problem with the search...
Down with IB I say. Hold who is responsible for the problems, accountable for those problems.
Anyone with me on this?
I have gotten great deals on everything I have purchased for my car to this date and ALL parts have been ordered from vendors on here. Every vendor including Performabuilt, Maryland Speed, LEDgauges, ThunderRacing, Strano, WS6 Store, MTI, UMI, BMR, ByunSpeed, Bob and the others at EPP and any others that I have dealt with and may have left off have been nothing but stand up, EVEN when I was NOT going to be purchasing and was just looking for INFORMATION. Its just sad that they are being treated like this.
No one in their right mind should be clicking on those adds anyways, so they shouldn't be getting any usage. They are completely useless to the users of this site and in no way, shape or form relate to the true car enthusiasts on this site.

Its downright comical to look back at it like that now.

What ever you do do not click the back button several times, each click is a hit that generates a view or some **** that leads to more profit, hit the drop down menu and go back to the page you wanted to go to instead.
My honest opinion? I like that there's not a mile long seemingly disorganized sponsor list (some times I had trouble finding the sponsor I wanted), but just a select sponsor list. The overall "alphabetic list" really needs some work and organization though.
But, as is likely being voiced, I'd be pissed if I were a sponsor. bowtieoverdrives.com gets to advertise on the site for PENNIES because of Google Ads.
So the new arrangement on the right for sponsor ads seems eeh OK, the alphabetic list needs work, and there needs to be some sort of working with the sponsors if the Google ads stay.
I think if ad space for paying sponsors is cut though (like it is right now), the sponsor cost should go DOWN. They pay for visibility, and right now, 100+ of them are not visible on my screen.

And it's great that the site looks good for you..... but this is what I see still:
