I did not know the factory size for sure but thought that the 17 x 10 with the offest of 36 might be too much for the front. I'll probably try to get 17 x 9.5 with around a 48mm offset instead which should put the wheels about a .5" out farther and look better(definitely not going for the ricer look). Thanks I'll be sure to post when the care gets its new shoes. Thanks

OK I just want to triple check before I click order! *still need to flip a coin on what rims *

17x9 ZR1 rims knock offs
17x9 SS rim knocks offs

I was thinking 275/40/R17 all around is there a tire that is 285 or 295 that fits on a 9" wide rim? Or should I just do 275 all around? I was thinking of running ZRIs again for daily from me enjoying mine before and trying to keep costs low.

Also if somthing I said is stupid feel free to warn me!

4.5" to 5" B.S. is OK, but what diameter?

ZR'1 and SS "knock offs" are the same wheel . . .

Most after market ZR'1 style wheels are 9.5" wide . . . 275/40ZR17 is the best recommended tire, but a 285 would fit.

Will NEVER fit over the brakes. A 3.5" wide x 15" dia. is about all that fits, and you STILL have to grind the caliper . . . .

They will fit, and sit in the wheel wells very similarly to Stock wheels. Spacers are entirely up to you.

OK, I searched this thread and didn't find it so here goes:

17x9 American Racing Rebels on a Camaro. I believe the backspacing is 21mm, which is significantly less than the 35-45mm range listed here.

Will they fit with a fender roll? Will they fit lowered an inch or so?

No way will they fit. They will stick OUT of the wheel well.

Xsta,
I've read almost all 21 pages (probably 18+) and I'm sure I'm Ok but I wanted one more head-check before pulling the trigger. I have an 02 Z28 and I want to purchase a set of replica C6 Z06 Chrome wheels. the size I want to use on all 4 corners is 18 x 9.5. Offset is +50mm. I plan to use P275/35 18 tires all around. I figure there should be no modifications needed to my car. It is not lowered. Am I in good shape? Is the P275 the ideal width tire or is a P265 better?
Thanks!

The 18 x 9.5 with a 50 mm offset and 275/35ZR18 is PERFECT.

I got some new wheels

17 x 9.5 zr1 wheels for the front 56mm...I am going to use---275/40/17's

17 x 11 zr1 wheels for the rear 56mm...I dont know what size to go with. I want them to be bigger than the front for performance and the "cool stance" but I dont want to hammer or modify anything. I am having trouble understanding the size guide. can someone please guide me...285,295,305,315 etc. etc.

thanks alot and sorry if I sound dumb. I read the whole thread and did research..
