Hello, Dr. Rim. I'm thinking of getting a set of 4 18x9.5 TSW wheels. The offset will be 45mm, and 5x120 for all 4.

I know I will need hubcentric rings for the 5x120.65 issue, but will a 45mm offset work on front and rear?

Yes the offset will work. Stock is 56 mm . . . I run a 38 mm offset 9.5" wheel.

So if I have some wheels made up, using the chart on this link:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-tires/346147-wheel-sizing-chart.html

Am I correct to assume (with some BFH mods of course) I can safely go with two (front) 18x9.5 (6 7/8 backspace, 38mm offset) and two (rear) 18x12 (7 3/4 back space 44mm offset)?

The fronts are definitely OK, cause that is the exact size and offset I run.

The rears . . . Hmm . . . first IMHO, I don't even see how a 12" wheel fits in the wheel well of an F-Car . . . But, working backwards from my wheels, they are 10.5" wide and a 38 mm offset. . . My rear tire currently rubs the wheel well lip, 295/35ZR18 . . so your proposed wheel will move the wheel inwards 6 mm, or ~1/4", but you are adding 3/4" of wheel width to both the inside and outside, to make it a final width of 12" . . . So in the end the face of the wheel will move 1/2" outwards . . . I do not see that fitting a Camaro, maybe a Firebird, and if lowered will definitely need to roll the quarter panel lips, and possibly some BFH, especially with a tire wider than 315/30ZR18.

According to your chart I can put 255 series tires on my 8.5" wheels. Correct?

I am planning on rolling the lip and flaring the fenders like the Dick Harrell edition Camaros. I want to have the wheels made first, then clay/glass the flaring to be flush with the wheel. So I am debating on a backspacing/wheel offset, to be safe on the inner wheel well then force the additional width outward.

Quick Question....

I just want to make sure that if I buy these rims theywill fit.

http://www.wheelhq.com/hypersilver-c...x95-wheel.html

Bolt Pattern: 5x4.75 inch
(5x120.65mm)

The reason im asking if b/c I bought a set of newer f-body rims for my lt1 and they would not fit on the back.. will I have troubles if i but these...

also.. Will there pr problems if i get 8.5" up from and 9.5" in the back? the off set one the 8.5" is +56mm and the 9.5 is +50mm will it looks funny at all?

I just read all 42 pages in this post!

Anyway, my question:

19x10 OEM C6 rim with 79mm offset with 275/30/19 tires. I need to fit on the FRONT of '98 Z28. 1" adapter or 1.25" adapter?

My best guess . . 1.25" or 31.75 mm . .

I run 38 mm 9.5" on the front of my SS, so . . 79 mm - 31.75mm = 47.25 mm

It would move the wheel ~ 10 mm inwards compare to mine, and your wheel is 6.35 mm wider each side . .

Again, I am only guessing by my math calculations.

I apoligize if this has been posted before, but I've searched for over an hour for the answer and couldn't get any help in regards to the offset from the sponsor. I have a 2000 SS.

Fronts: TTIIs 18X8
Rears: TTIIs 18X10

I want to put 315X30 on the rear. Possible? What would you recommend for offset?

What size would you go with in the front? 265X35, 255X35, or 245X35 and what offset?

Thanks for your help!

On a 10" wheel, thats not recemmended to runa 315 . . . 295 to a 305 . .

Front a 245/40ZR18

As for offsets . . . I beielve AR has standards on their f-car fitment.

But, with the 8" I'd say around 20 mm offset. The 10" ~ 35 mm

I have 17x9.5 TT2's on the front of my TA now, but they're in bad shape and need to be replaced. I saw 15x4 TT2's on Summit and was thinking about doing those as a front rim to match my rear 17X11 TT2's. The 15x4's have 1.5 inches of backspacing and a -25.00 offset with the correct bolt pattern. Any issues with those fitting the front. I have seen alot of guys are buying the 15x4 Summit stars which have 1.75 backspacing and -19.00 offset. Thanks for any info.

Just thought I would share as I didnt expect this. I have a 95 Camaro, base model, v6, rear drum, etc. I tried putting a set of 99 Z28 wheels on, the chrome 5 spoke 16x8 rims. The front went on fine, but the rear didnt fit over the axle hub. I had to use a die griinder to open up the center of wheel slightly. Then it barely slid on.

BTW-anyone have or know where I can find center caps for the stock 16x8 chrome 5 spoke wheels off a 99 Z?

Will these fit? http://www.youngsfbody.com/inc/sdetail/10583

The hub issue is very common, not sure why though . . .

And yes those center caps will fit.

Never faced this issue with any other stock 4th gen wheel I have used. I did a lot of swapping around on my 3rd gens and never saw this.

Sweet on the center caps, gives me more to look for. Thanks
