I'll reveal details when I actually have them in my posession but I am psyched about these wheels !! I have a few ideas on how to make them not look as big and will be going tiny on the tires to keep overall diameter under 26" so they're the same as the 275/35/18s I have on there now. I am not a fan and never have been of 20s on an f-body sure on a c5/6 but I think I can make them work. They are my favourite wheel in the finish that I've always loved and couldnt pass them up for the price.
I'll spill the beans as things progress....

Sizes I'm looking at now are 263/30/19 and 295/25/20 both are under 26" with the rears .5 bigger. I don't want the rears too much taller and have the car higher off the ground but I need the sidewalls as similar as possible for my tastes. Teaser pics to come Tom !

Hey:
I don't know if you have ridden in a perfomance car with those sidewalls but traction blows and the ride sucks.
IMHO I would strongly suggest a bigger set of tires.
I did this, and was a huge waste of money on my part, as I had to buy tires twice before I had planned as it ruined the cars performance totally. No sidewall means, no traction and no rim protection = bent rims hitting any hole in the road. I thought I could deal with it, my car has the very best Adj suspension and the ride went from awesome to awful. I have now went with 275 40 20 front on this car and 315 35 20 rear and its way better than with the rubber band tires. As I had already BFH, rolled, tubbed, and trimmed for larger tires/wheels. Its got more ground clearence, about the same as stock but looks way lower due to the F-1/RS ground effects, and closer wheel wells with the bigger tires/wheels.
Just a suggestion, from My experience, choose wisely.
Good Luck with your choice.

Hey:
In the pic above 275/40x18 on 9.5x18, front wheels, and 315/35x20 on 11x20 rear wheels this is what started the mod list, to make it all work, I thought I had the newer pics that Showed the newer wheels/tires but I guess not.
20x9 frt, and 20x13 rear now. Was 4 20x11 till they were modded, I just wanted to see if I could make them work, they are very heavy and almost not worth doing for all the time and money in them. They did rub but all the mods done was to stop that, now they only make a slight touch nowadays when at crazy angles side to side like offset of camber driveway when in a left turn in the front. You need a hi heat gun in the front to mold the plastic so they do not always rub. I also needed offset tubular LCAs to fit the rears, besides the lip rolling, mini tubbing, BFH and a little trimming. My Daily Z has 18x10.5 all around, with 285 35 frt and 285 40 rear nitto 555s and rides as good with none of the issues this took to make work. I was pretty bummed after all the time spent on making this work with the 1st set of tires and it sucked so bad, traction and ride wise, I almost gave up. The 20x11 may have worked up front but needed a spacer because of the offset. The tires height was making contact with the top of the inner fender well. Then I found that the BMW x5 had the size tires I wanted to try so thats whats on there now. When I did this back four years ago tire selection blew and they were the only size 20" C5 Z06 rims and tires out. I may try some more tire combo's when I get home.

Hey sorry guys lost this thread for a bit. A lot has changed. I ended up selling my 01 Z so I could get a c5 and slap them on since thats what staggered look best on imo. BUT I ended up picking up a SWEEET ss and it has the rear valance and centre exhaust which really convinced me I can probably pull it off in the rear now theres a semi skirt to help out with filling space.
Ive ridden on 25 series before. My c4 has 315/25/19 rear and 265/30/19 fronts and ive gone 210 mph on the street with them. doesnt bother me one bit. I always pump the pressure a bit higher so I dont kill my rims and I havent dented one yet. the suspension is a little archaic on the fbody compared to my c4 and I am considering a 30 series rear.
First I need ground control coilovers (625/200 spring rate) to keep the ride low and stiff enough not to bottom out constantly. then Ill slap them on. The wheels did just arrive today to me so Ill get pics up soon !!
