Default painting inner barrel of wheels

anyone ever done this? the inside of my iForged wheels get so dirty with dailey driving and its a pain to clean them all the time...anyone ever tried to paint the inside of there wheels black? any negitives to this and reasons i shouldnt do it? i cant really think of any...thanks

I can't think of any either. Go ahead. Just make sure you mask off the inside around the spokes, to avoid any overspray.

From my cousin, but tirerack has them. Just look for Corvette wheels.

Best way for you to keep from having to clean them is just give them to me. No more cleaning worries for you! No, but really I don't see why you can't try it, might make the spokes stand out more

I had my old Snyper wheels sent off to be polished on the face, and powdercoated on the sides of the spokes and the inside. You can see some pics on my webshots site - it really made a huge difference in the look of the wheels (most of the pics of my '99 TA have these wheels).
*If* you decide to do it, I'd recommend powdercoating instead of painting - it should hold up better against scratches & whatnot...

I used Duplicolor clear on the inside of my chrome ZR1's. It has made them alot easier to keep clean.

i'm planning on doing the same with my ss 10 spokes.

does anyone know any tips about how to paint the insides? or is it just mask and paint?

thanks for the replys guys...i leave for deployment here in sept. and ill prolly send them off to iforged to get cleaned up, and have them powder coated in the inside..i like that idea...thanks for the tip...
