"Best," is a pretty relative term.

Best at what? I have BFGs and they're a nice balance of traction and tread life.

You really should have included the Hoosier DR's. I just picked up a pair and they are a pretty nice tire from what I've seen so far.

Tread life and BFG DRs dont belong in the same sentence.

If you dont heat em up they dont hold anyways.... I learned that the hard way with the BFG 315s. For the street.... go with the Nittos.

I don't know about that. They stick good for a 17" DR as long as the pavement isn't too cold. Last year I would dead hook in second with a 125 shot. As for tread life, well, that's a completely relative term, and not worth arguing. My 315 BFG drag radials are getting damn good tread life in my book for how well they're performing. As for Nitto's, I don't think very highly of them. The auto guys seem to be able to get them to hook decently, but I didn't have **** for luck with them in my 6 speed car.

I couldn't get my BFG's to hook in my bolt on 14 sec mustang after a smoky burnout, on a hot summer day, at the track!!! The mustang even had a full suspension!

Now in my car, (full BMR suspension, 400 RWHP), I can get my 315 Nittos to spin just a little off the line and then hook in all other gears.

Some people may have different experiences but my experience with BFG's is this....they suck.
