if you go to ground lt1 brakes they fit lol but i never understood why someone would downgrade braking performance to fit a wheel

not only are you downgrading brakes, but you're also adding weight to the car as the LT1setups are ~5lbs heavier per side.

Im subscribing because I am also curious...I just saw a 15x3.5 in person today and they are very nice...and at $127/each they seem like a great value...They look to be clearanced for front calipers, etc and I weighed one and it was 10lbs even...The prices I saw for the 15x10s are $147/each...Thats a whole set for under $600...Wow! The flyer I saw stated that they were warranted for a lifetime for structural integrity, some new one piece casting process, and NHRA/IHRA legal...Seems like a nice inexpensive solution for drag wheels...Hopefully they'll get the rears right soon...

--Alan

And someone asked about other drag wheels that fit without grinding...I know that the Centerline Convo Pros in both 15x4 front backspacings fit and I understand now that they make a 15x9 that fits without mods...

summit says the 15x10 greg weld drag-star wheels with the correct offset/backspace will be available in mid August (august 13 supposedly). Just a heads up for those who havent seen that yet....i'll contribute to the beating of the dead horse lol

LOL. Man this is crazy. It's like a feeding frenzy waiting for a wheel that, in my opinion, looks ok...but just ok. Guys getting wheels that don't fit, grinding calipers....wow. Yeah, eventually you'll get a wheel that fits...at least I hope, for you guys sake....but man, all the hassle of back and forth and grinding and this and that.

All I know is my Bogart D6's should be in sometime next week. That'll be somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 weeks since ordered and I'll have the piece of mind knowing that when I pull off the stockers, the new ones will slip right on AND be the best looking wheel on the block.

Don't be offended fellas. That's not my intent. I wish you all the luck in the world. I just don't mind paying a little extra to have something that I know is gonna fit.

Bo

well when the rears come back out at the end of the summer they will bold right up with not grinding. Not everyone has 1500 to spend on a set of wheels. I know i sure dont being i just graduated from high school an soon to start college. I work and pay for everything that i put on my car. My parents have offered many times and i tell them "my car so my parts" That is the reason i am waitin for these.

I understand what your'e saying lil brother. I know when I was your age, I didn't even have a nice car worth putting wheels on (damn, I'm startin to sound old). It's just the issue of waiting and all the guys getting dissappointed when the wheels originally didn't fit ya know? That was my point. Sure the Bogarts are a little higher but you can get 'em in 3 or 4 weeks and know they'll fit, that's all.

On a side note, if your parents offer to buy ANYTHING for your car, let 'em..lol.
Good luck with college.
