Own the 1985 Chevy Corvette from the Big Lebowski!

We’ve got information, man! The “Big Lebowski” is one of those movies that inspires people to become hardcore fanatics, create festivals, and even religion-like followings in honor of the 1998 movie.

If you happen to fall under the category of any of the aforementioned, then you’re going to want to pay attention. Die-cast and collectible toy manufacturer, Greenlight, just announced that it will produce various vehicles from the “Big Lebowski” movie, including the hot 1985 Chevrolet Corvette C4 you can see pictured above.

“To ensure we were able to begin producing The Big Lebowski models, we had four staff members working on the case. We were working in shifts!” said Russell Hughes, GreenLight Collectibles’ President. “With the annual Lebowski Fest events occurring around the United States in cities such as Louisville, Kentucky; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Los Angeles, California, we’re confident the cult following for this film will translate into a large collector base for The Big Lebowski model cars”, added Hughes.

While I’d like to see a cool 1:18 scale version of this red Corvette, Greenlight says that all vehicles will be produced at a 1:43 scale for the moment, but will expand to models like The Dude’s Torino, Walter’s “Sobchak Security” Chevy Van and Da Fino’s Volkswagen Beetle. Too bad none of them are cool as the ‘Vette.
