LMR Demonstrates 870WHP Corvette Z07 Pull on Dyno

The LMR Team video mentions a recent customer drove his current generation Corvette Convertible Z07, shown in blue and asked to add some pretty specific power parts. Jeff at LMR, says the customer said in so many words, “We need to add boost, free up the exhaust and add nitrous.” Starting from a base 540 WHP, 650 BHP from the factory, LMR does a fine job snapping those numbers up to an astounding 870 WHP. Watch as the automatic transmission Z07 power is so smooth, quick and composed going full gas on the dyno run flexing its muscles.
Smartly the customer went with the Z07 model to start. It features the additional aero package and bigger brakes. Adding 300 more horsepower to the rear tires will now be more taxing. Especially during the nitro shots on those hot street racing nights where you don’t see the armadillo in the middle of the road approaching 150 MPH.
