‘LS1 Tech’ Off-topic Threads a Great Way to Pass Your Newfound Time
Whether you want to talk sports, stupid car questions, or just get some workout tips, LS1Tech forums has it all.
In these uncertain times, most of us have found ourselves with an abundance of at least one thing. Well, maybe in addition to canned food and, ahem, paper goods. We’re talking about time, of course. As we all sit quarantined in our homes, exploring the depths of streaming TV, there are some other entertaining and informative ways to kill this newfound time. We’re talking about the LS1Tech off-topic threads, which are a bit different from the tech you’re probably used to.
Here in the LS1Tech forums, you’ll find all sorts of entertaining build threads, tech advice, and the like. But there are also some other fascinating (and sometimes downright hilarious) ways to kill time here. One of our favorites is the Racer’s Lounge, where you’ll find all sorts of interesting discussions going on at any given time. Those revolving around everything from pro sports to workout tips to a thread featuring garage pics.
And sure, there are quite a few threads here that cover car stuff. But they aren’t necessarily exclusive to the LS platform, or even GM products. Members have shown off their trucks, bikes, video gaming skills, you name it. Others have sought out advice for new equipment purchases, and even talked shop about woodworking. But our personal favorite threads in the Racer’s Lounge are indeed car based.
‘Dumb’ Fun
Perhaps the best one right now is here, a thread asking members to submit the dumbest questions people have ever asked about their car. With almost 4,500 responses, you’ll quickly find yourself lost and quite humored by them. And then there are the many, many stupid car myths members point out in this thread. It’s a good one to send to your less technically savvy buddies, that’s for sure. Or just read through it and laugh at the expense of others.
