Geoff Stoneback from Allentown, Pennsylvania wasn’t always into drifting. However, fate gave him an opportunity in 2005 in a purchase a S14-chassis Nissan 240SX and now has made Formula Drift history by winning the first ever Formula Drift Pro 2 event at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He gives us and his fans a review of his weekend in this video.IMG_1929

Geoff is also well on his way to win the Rookie of the Year title in Formula Drift’s Pro category. He has not only qualified for every round in 2014, but made it into the Great 8 at Homestead-Miami. His LSX S14 240SX features a SIKKY swap kit that has made the installation of the LS-based engines far easier in the S-chassis Nissans. Geoff is 17th overall in points and his next closest Rookie rival is Alec Honadell in 23rd place and 30.5 points behind Geoff. With 4 more rounds to go in the Formula Drift Pro Championship, Stoneback is looking solid for Rookie of the Year.
