The Corvair never really lived up to its full potential. Or did it? In the late 60s a guy named Ted Trevor came up with a great way to stuff a SBC into the Corvair ahead of the transaxle. His $600 Crown conversion fell into the hands of Chuck Rust in Southern California, who built this amazing car featured on Mike Musto’s show.
