Also we started on the valve covers. We were debating on making them from scratch and engraving something on them, but this just gets it done sooner.

We are almost done with all the fab work. After fab comes paint!
That is amazing.

I would think they bore it out and press some kind of steel sleeve in there.

You never heard of super glue and zip ties? It's amazing what can be done when you know what you're doing.

And duct tape!
Just because something is difficult or even seemingly impossible, doesn't mean it cannot be done. Give kudos where it is due I say!

But seriously,
These guys should see if they can get the electronics for the fuel management system, that they are going to use in the end, into a pair of welded together ls1 pcm cases. That would be a sweet finishing touch or detail item.

You should make a kickstarter project for this and have a lottery for an engine.

Subscribed. I have a '73 Datsun 240z with an '02 camaro LS1. My father's 280 was the first lsz in the country. Not if, but when u realize u just don't have enough traction check out the widebody kits for these cars at www.reactionresearch.com. I have one going on my car. Let me tell you that 315's hook up a Lot better than the 245 u can at best get under there otherwise. Also check out the r230 rear axle from the 300zxtt cars. Mine is set up for 700hp of banging. If u need any info message me. I can save u a Ton of effort for finding the best parts to put that monster together.

Good luck and God bless!
