That engine is NOT an LS2. More likely an LQ4 or LQ9 truck engine, especially since it still has the Vortec engine cover, truck intake manifold, and truck accessory drive. These are things one would not bother to install on a REAL LS2.
Do some homework next time, Robert Bacon. Trust, but VERIFY.

Very cool ride. But I think you're right. Def a truck motor. Wonder why they went that direction on a resto like this?

Well, if you couldn't tell the difference, a lot of other people won't either. Besides, you can do a lot to iron block 6.0's.
