haha, oops...
turned out to be a cam sensor problem
depends on the year of the truck, then you still need to mod the steel lines. it must make 58psi (4 bar) to support any Gen III/IV engine.
id say i went the simplest route with my fuel setup. stock pump (for now), vette return style fuel filter, oem plastic lines w/ quick disconnect fittings. pump not included, cost was around $100cdn.. ill post a few pix saturday for ya den

I think different trucks came with different brake boosters or sumthin...either that or the motor mounts are mounting the engines higher or lower...I welded modified camaro mounts in keeping the motor super low(like 1/4" clearance from the cradle to oil pan) and I had no coil to booster clearance issues either

ive got a 1995 sonoma with a 434ci small block in it right now and i got a 99 sonoma ZQ8 that i am putting a ls1 and a 6spd in it... its a 4cyl auto. truck and i heard that you can use the stocky 4.3L fuel lines... what kind of madifications do you have to do with these fuel lines to make them work? also do these fuel lines need to be from a 5spd truck or a automatic or does it matter?

Well as far as the fuel lines go I went to a salvage yard and cut a pressure and return line off about midway down the bellhousing from a fullsize. Since I am going to use truck accessories and intake the fuel lines should work. I am going to cut off the the stock 4.3 fuel lines and then either make a flex adaptor out of hydraulic line with crimped fittings or just use compression fittings and see if it will work.
