so my truck is headed off to the metal workers on wednesday, finally, tranny corssmemeber and driveshaft time, then we have some fuel stuff to do (i am still unsure if I want to upgrade pump, or wait till i do injectors) we have the harness to figure out, and a few little things like exhuast and such. I am really getting excited, cant wait to hear that cammed 6.0l runnin in that little truck

hey guys i want to compliment you all on your awsome rides, this sight is greatly informative,im in the process of stuffing a ls1 into my 96 4x4,the truck sits pretty low,it does not see any offroading,i was hoping that someone could send me some pics of the fuel lines using the vette filter, and does the vette filter 97-04 have the regulater built in,i have a 99 ta ls1,id like to use the stock ta fuel rail, but was considering using the vette one,any input or suggestions would be great!thanks again and keep up the good work on your rides, its great to find a place with people with the same interests as me!
use this filter in combimation with a returnless style rail. the idea is to have the fuel continuously circulated to prevent vaporlock. if you dont have the regulator and bypass in the filter, it must be in the rail.
ls2sonoma thanks for the pics, and bigdeezs thanks for the input on the filter,so can i use my ta fuel rail even though it has a regulater on it,in conjunction with the vette filter with the built in regulater,my goal is to only run 1 fuel feel line up to the motor, but im not sure if 2 regulaters will give me any fuel starvation problems.and one more question anyone have any probs with running the stock 4.3 fuel pump?
that is not a fuel regulater on the fuel rail it is a dampener. your system will work just fine with no return. Im not sure about the 4.3 pump. you will need the vett filter. In the firebird the regulater was in the pump i think

Yeah the F-body regulator is part of the in-tank pump assembly so yes you can run a single line from the tank. And I'm running the stock 1995 4.3L truck pump while putting down 390rwhp NA and 500rwhp N20 wetshot with no fuel pressure issues. I'm not sure about the newer truck pumps though cuz mine is from the older 4.3L C.P.I. motor.
