With the iron engine mounts from CPF does it allow you to keep the transmission crossmember in the factory location wo having to redrill and move stuff around. The mounts and headers are the last things I need to round up. I finally got the pan on the engine cam and springs swapped sunday night. It's getting closer to d day for the noma.

Doesn't your c5 pan have some big *** wings on it? I thought it was next to impossible to clear anything with that pan?

I went with the LS2 pan. Right now it's on the engine stand at the shop and if I can ever get to a stopping place with customers stuff pretty quick I'll start on it. But they're stuff pays the bills. I'll see if I can get some pics up this weekend of the harness engine etc.

A pedestal that would hold on the engine cover on. If you are not gonna use the engine cover/ engine didnt come with one I would put one of those expandable rubber freeze plugs in there.

That hole is where the EVAP canister purge solenoid goes.
If you are not running emissions controls, then you can plug it up.

Yes, the truck intake fits under and S-10 hood:

Nope If you look a little farther up the evap solenoid is still mounted to the intake by that green cap. I think there may have been a tower glued there from the factory to screw the vortec cover into and when the truck got wrecked it broke out that tower. The intake is junk unless you have the cover to jb weld the tower back in.

You cannot get the tower unless you break it out of another intake manifold.

I've got an empty manifold (no rails / injectors) from my 2004 6.0 that I'll sell for $50, if you're interested. It's completely intact, no repairs required.

PM me if you want it.
