Good thing you're running that cowl hood for that big motor and all the extra room you need ...LOL just messin but with these swaps a person could run a reverse cowl and still have plenty of room!

..i wish...with my carb intake my air cleaner just barely grazes the hood. If it were a single plain, no way in hell it would fit. I think i might try running one of those edelbrock foam triangular filters.

i'm sure this has probably been answered and probably won't work with my luck but will a truck intake fit under the hood?

of course its been answered... the truck intake is supposed to fit, i heard that its the alternator and engine cover that hit the hood.... however, it may depend on mounts

yup...i wanted my motor to sit as low as possible and S10s dont have em so i figured it would be okay. Also I've heard of high HP guys riping off the driver side tower when the motor torques.

okay, so if i use this intake will it throw me off fuel wise. i was originally gonna use an f-body intake and fuel rail.. the truck intake is basically the same set up isnt it.. or is it more like the vette fuel rail with two fuel connections.

also, i'm leaving my mount towers, would this be an issue??

the two connections youre thinking of is early style. one is a return, whereas in the newer systems, the return was in the filter... thats why you hear people talk about the vette filter. you can run either system, just dont mix and match the two.

the bigger intake will change the airflow slightly since one is a larger volume, but if you keep the maf, i wouldnt expect a huge change where you couldnt drive it.

sorry, i dont know about your mount towers

Just a couple of pics from this weekend, you know its a sad day when yo put a kit on your ride to try and get around a trailblazer

We had a problem with the nozzle i put on the truck, the fuel pills were to much for the juice so we cut the fuel noid outta the picture and ran a dry shot it was only a 50 dry shot it was a fender the whole way until he hit his second stage and made it a 1 car difference
