I used to stock truck power steering pump and pulley. Works just fine on my swap. The only catch is if you go to replace the power steering pump the pulley will just touch the box as you have almost pulled it off the shaft. And when you go to put the pulley back on the new pump it will start to pull on at a slight angle and then straighten out as you pull it on further.

Here is how I modified my pacesetter passenger side header. I made a cut about 70% through each tube about 3/4" away from the flange with a cut off wheel, so only about a 1/8" wide cut. I then bent it in and tacked it. That 1/8" of movement by the flange translates to more than an inch by the collector. The tightest spot I have is about 5/8". This is using carshop inc setback plates.

Any issues with fitment against the motor, starter, trans, or put the o2 in a bad place?

That looks much easier to do then what i did. My only hope now is all my work will pay off in accidently finding a power secret worth 30hp by switch the front two primaries lol.

I think the brp style mounts raise the motor higher than adapter plates. But my cts pan doesnt hang too low.

Just got my set Friday as well. I think that using the brp mounts in the predrilled holes in the frame is really screwing my swap up. The cts-v pan barely clears the crossmember, its to the point where I can maybe get 5 sheets of computer paper between it and the frame. The pacesetters just weren't going to cut it. I think the next step if these headers don't fit is to get the motor mount adapter plates. I knocked a hole in the heater box putting the engi-e in anyways.

cherry red have you fit the headers up yet? i have the custom brp mounts. so my location may be a little different than yours. i have already re-shaped my heater box and fiberglassed it. the coil pack on that side was hitting the box. the valve cover wasnt a problem. i'm also running the stock f-body pan and notched my frame for fitment. so it may not be a valid comparison between our two set ups. hopefully the headers will work for both of us though. I tried the factory corvette headers by the way, they hit the crossmember, the outlet is too far towards the front of the car.

Dose it clear the stock hood, or do you run a cowl hood?

Whats mounts, and oil pan are you using?

I remember seeing an article in Car Craft where they just opened up the holes in the flexplate slightly with a grinder without any issues.
