Hello,
Does anyone have a pinout for the instrument cluster and possibly the check engine circuit on a 2006 sierra base? My harness has been replaced and I need to locate the check engine lead. THe cluster has been checked
thank you in advance
I posted an app on the app store ( ITS FREE) (LSWHAT) that has the wiring diagrams etc. I'm always adding to it so it has more and more. I built it to help me out when working on my cars.

That sounds really good and cool...but is there an app or a way I can get it on pre ios 8 ( or even android)??? Thanks
There doesn't seem to be a full diagram that I can find, but there are several diagrams that are broken down into power/gnd/serial data, Data sensors 5v and low reference, pressure and temp sensors, etc... Kind of makes it hard to read.
The ECM pinout lists are just about all you really need, what exactly are you looking for and I will see if I can find it (I have an Alldata subscription for an 08 G8 GT)
Love your avatar pic. Trogdor!!! Burninating the people!
Thanks RacnJsn95 (Jason?), I hadn't found your thread. I need to dig through your thread, it looks like you did similar as I'm trying to. I had been reading through the LS3 section on lt1swap, and was trying to sort through which wires I need and don't. My junkyard engine didn't even come with an X1 plug, so I ordered one from Current Performance, and I was trying to figure out what I needed to rewire in. My X2 is intact, I'm rerouting the MAF wiring to put the MAF where I need it. I'm a little confused on which O2 sensor wiring I need, does the stuff in X2 have what I need, or do I need to add it back with the X1. Also trying to figure out the pinouts for this plug:
I'll create another thread though to as not jack this one.

Are you sure you know which one is the X1 and X2? I was confused about that at first, and have it backwards in the first couple pages of my build thread.
All of the MAF wires are in the X1 plug. This is the one that was cut on my harness, but they were at least nice enough to give me the plug.
The X2 has all of the important o2 sensor wires you will need, you won't need any from the X1. The X2 plug is all of the main engine stuff like coils, injectors, etc. (edit 4/14: Let me rephrase that. As long as you don't have to meet emissions compliance laws, you will not need the o2 sensor wires on X1, if you do have to 100% pass emissions, you will need the o2 sensor wires on the X1 plug)
For the most part I found the Camaro info on lt1swap was pretty much identical to the G8. The Camaro page can be confusing at first as the author doesn't list THE COLOR KEY, I had to go to the truck page to figure out what the yellow and blue meant... Once I knew that, it was smooth sailing. There is only 1 wire that can be removed from the X2, the rest all stay.
I posted the pinout for the plug you're holding up in your picture in my thread.
