Got some more work done this evening....
- Got the door panels on
- Windows are scraped and ready for some 20% 3m film
- Bottom of the car wiped down with acetone 2x to remove dirt and wax for paint
- Engine bay && trunk cleaned
- Engine is basically ready to go in, still need to pull the oil restricters and torque the pan down

- Still need to swap the stator in the Chance converter for the M/T rubber

We'll paint the bottom of the car saturday or sunday and the motor will be in either sunday night or monday morning

double check the rulebook on the tint...I don't think they allow it for competition...

Got the bottom of the car painted today. Started with a etching primer and finished with Chassis Black. Going to let it dry and drop the powerplant in.

Didn't get much done this evening.

Pulled down the front timing cover
Removed oil restrictors from lifter galleys
Swapped ARP Cam bolts
Added plugs for old oil pump passages
Swapped stator in Chance Converter

Need to pick up a piece of aluminum and a front timing cover seal tomorrow. Motor will be in my thursday.

Today got a few things done....
- Motor is in
- Powerglide/Chance converter are in and bolted in place
- PCM mount is done getting painted

Tomorrow we're going to install the BS3 and start finishing up the wiring harness, there are 2-3 plugs that need to be changed over. Motor plate is at the machinist and should be done tomorrow.

Thrashing aint the word for it. Didn't have too much time yesterday, I took my son to the doctors yesterday morning since my wife hadn't gotten much sleep in the last couple days and watched him for a couple hours to mom could get some much needed rest. Got to work about 2ish. Here is what we got done....

Primed and Painted - Rear, control arms, parachute mount, parachute holder
Wolfe lower control arms bolted up
Moser 9" installed
AFCO shocks bolted down
Single upper control arm(get pinion angle, side to side, and front to rear correct)
Installed Mark Williams Driveshaft
Fuel cell, water tank, battery box w/ 16 volt battery are in
Custom Wiring harness arrived from Painless Performance
Cut the front K-member in 1/2 and removed the center bar
Mocked up front suspension and aligned wheels for removable center bar fabrication
Worked on installing front bumper, doesn't seem to fit just right
Got head lights installed

Tonight we're going to work on door and fender alignment and a possibly install some carpet.
Phil
