Not much to report on...but I did fix one of the dzus fasteners on the hood....it was a little off with the bracket, so I moved the bracket a bit...attaches so much easier now ![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
Had a nice "PUSH OFF" sticker made for my kill switch, so I got that installed too...
Also decided to cut and buff the hood and while I was at it, threw a nice coat of polish on the car![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)

here's the "last" run of the old setup (before I started this large rebuild effort)

Looks great Brian. You weren't kidding about being bored and out of stuff to do before the bullet shows up. I thought it was a race car not a show car.

We have everything at the shop...just need to do all the machine work and assembly...
First off...big thanks to RHS for hooking me up with a very good deal for a new block...this was really a time saver. Also big thanks to Shawn for making this happen! New motor will be virtually identical to old one with two exceptions:
went with diamond billet pistons vs the JEs
going with a radically different cam profile
I still have the repairable block at the shop...and am willing to sell at a reasonable price...not giving it away since I can keep it for a backup.
